There is no spoon...

Sigh.
I have been learning to cook with non-stick cookware, but I am also a wok cook.
So I got a non-stick wok.
Aaaannnd, I have a favorite cooking spoon that actually works well with my cast iron cookware and my steel wok.
Enter cooking dyslexia.
Hot oil, stir frying vegetables.
oo.
That favorite spoon is plastic.
Yuck.
Changed spoons and later scraped the melted plastic off the end of the spoon. It is still usable, and I learned my lesson.
(you see it coming, don't you?)
Yeah, I learned my lesson.
Almost.
The vegetables were delicious, but there was something hard, like a stem in there.
A white plastic stem.
Yum.
And silly man that I am, I assumed that was the rest of the spoon and ate the rest.
Much later, it occurred to me that if the spoon had disintegrated, there might be more than one piece of plastic in the food.
Hm.
I think I will toss those leftovers in the freezer.

Welcome!
